What Was That?! 33 on the Target ID… Turned Out to Be a Broken Bracelet (Still Counts!)
Hey treasure hunters! Got a solid 33 on the Target ID and thought “What was THAT?!” Dug it up… and it turned out to be a broken bracelet! 😂 Still counts in my book!
Metal detecting is full of these mystery moments. One beep can be anything from junk to jewelry, and that’s exactly why I love it. Low numbers like 33 often mean aluminum, pull tabs, or small jewelry — but you never know until you dig.
The Mystery Signal
I got a clean, repeatable 33 and decided to investigate. Flipped the plug and pulled out a broken bracelet. Not gold or silver, but it’s a cool little find with a story behind it. Someone probably lost it years ago, and now it’s part of my hunt memories.
These “still counts” finds keep the hobby fun and remind me to dig most signals. You just never know what’s waiting underground!
