Live Highlight: More Quarters, Can Slaw, & Repurposed EpiPen Holders for Metal Detecting
Hey treasure hunters! Live hunt highlight — pulling more quarters, battling the dreaded can slaw, and showing one of my favorite budget hacks: repurposing old EpiPen holders for metal detecting! 🪙
Every hunt is a mix of wins and learning moments. The quarters felt great in the pouch, but the shredded aluminum (can slaw) was out in full force today. That’s just part of coin shooting in real dirt.
The EpiPen Holder Hack
One simple trick I love is turning empty EpiPen tubes into handy field tools. They’re sturdy, lightweight, waterproof, and perfect for holding a pinpointer tip, small digging tools, or even as a quick trash pouch. Clip it on your belt or harness and you’re good to go — zero extra cost!
These little repurposing ideas keep the hobby affordable and fun while making sessions smoother.
