Every now and then, I like to look back at where this whole metal detecting journey really began. Before the newer machines… before the livestreams… before the big adventures… it was just Zeke (aka Glenn), a patch of dirt, and my old Fisher 1225x humming away like it had something to prove.

I dug back through some of my earliest YouTube Shorts and found a few gems from those early hunts. That old 1225x didn’t have fancy features or modern tech, but it sure delivered excitement. Every beep felt like a mystery waiting to be uncovered — and honestly, that’s still my favorite part of this hobby.
