Metal Detecting Tip - The Double Whammy Signal
Try this metal detecting tip when you get a chance. It is a technique I use when searching near metal poles and other. I call it the "Double Whammy Signal".
As you search near a metal pole, move your coil back and forth towards the pole. Do this in a circular pattern and listen for a double signal.
Initially, you will hear only one signal caused by the pole. But, when you hear two signals as you move back and forth, this will be your cue to search for a target.
Do give it a try; I am always surprised how many coins and other treasures have turned up using this technique!
