Great day to go metal detecting after a long winter. Spring forward has metal detecting again. Only 26 cents but still a great time... dirt fishing!

Clad Coins to Kickoff 2022!
First metal detecting hunt for yours truly in 2022. Started slow with nothing found in the first 30 minutes. But, kept at it and ended this round with four pennies and a dime before calling it quits when it started to rain.

Happy New Year! | Let's Recap 2021's Finds
Happy New Year! Looking forward to more metal detecting in 2022. For now, as a cold front approaches, let's recap 2021 finds with a few highlights from last year!

Metal Detecting the Front Yard #shorts
Rain forecasted, time for a quick search. Where to... the front yard! In short order, found two soda cans and confirmed I need to treat for grubs. Bummer!

Clad Coins to Restart Metal Detecting Again
After being sidetracked with an injury to my hand and then work getting in the way... and then trout stocking season has started, so my other passion - fishing (see @coaffieldteam), has made it challenging to get a metal detecting session in.
Luckily, the local schoolyard was open and the weather was perfect for a coinshoot.
Found mainly trash but did find two quarters and three pennies! Not bad for a coinshoot after a long delay... 53 cents!

Slight Delay
Quick update on metal detecting... more a delay in metal detecting. Hurt my hand; gotta get better and then I will be out and about again!
